  • Site map not updated when article is published will not be indexed

The problem is that it waits for a long time and is not indexing a newly emerging problem article

Previously it was an article archive automatically

I also entered the map site

    From WordPress to rank math

I noticed this phrase: – No sitemaps submitted.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

If you have any caching plugin please exclude your sitemap URLs from being cached then do the following:

    1. Head over to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks

    Hit the save button once.

    2. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings

    Hit the save button once.

    3. Check if the sitemap working fine in your browser. You can check that by going domain(.)com/sitemap_index.xml using a private browser.

If the sitemap is working fine, you can try validating it on this link: https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/validate-xml-sitemap.html

    4. If the validation works, please head over to GSC and remove any submitted sitemap then resubmit only the main index sitemap URL(sitemap_index.xml). Give i sometime to crawl your site and update.

    5. Once the data is up to date in your GSC you can head to Your site > Rank math > Search Console and click on Refresh sitemaps

    That should fix the issue.

If it doesn’t, please do let us know so we can look at this further.

    Thank you.
