Caching: Ensure that you clear your site, plugin, or any server-level cache. This can sometimes prevent changes from being reflected immediately.

Google’s Crawling: The Google Favicon crawler occasionally crawls your site, and this process can take a while. You may need to be patient as it can take several weeks for the favicon to appear in SERPs.

Follow Google’s Guidelines: Make sure you are following the guidelines by Google for favicons to ensure they are set up correctly.
If you have already done all of this and the favicon is still not appearing, we recommend replying to this ticket with your screenshots, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will take over and assist you further.

Our plugin is not responsible for controlling the favicon that appears on your website. Usually, that’s built into the theme options. Google uses the Google Favicon user agent to fetch the favicon from your website and caches it on its servers. Since this user agent is a low-volume crawler, sometimes it may take a while for Google to update the favicon.
You can usually modify your favicon by going to Appearance > Customize > Site Identity > Site Icon.
Visit https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=www.website.com , just make sure to replace the domain parameter with your own site. There is no evidence that this is what Google is actually using to fill its results pages. But chances are that what this entry point returns is what you can expect in results pages a bit later.
