single redirect not working

I have imported 109 redirects (both 410 and 301) from yoast.

All redirects are working except 1!

I have deleted and re-added this single 301 redirect over and over again, I have also enabled redirect debug (but no debug screen appears – it appears on all other working redirects)

I have also trashed and recreated using regex as well .. it still does not work. In all cases it redirects back to home page .

All redirects (including this one) worked fine with Yoast redirects.
All other 108 redirects work with rank math EXCEPT this one.
Have included links in “sensitive Data”

    Thank you

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the single redirect not working. It sounds frustrating, especially since all other redirects are functioning correctly. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check for Conflicting Redirects: Ensure that there are no other redirects that might be conflicting with the one you are trying to set up. Sometimes, multiple rules can cause unexpected behavior.

    2. Use the Debugging Feature: Since you mentioned that the debug screen does not appear for this specific redirect, please double-check that the Redirections module is enabled in Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Redirections. If it is enabled and still not showing, it might indicate a deeper issue with that specific redirect.

    3. Inspect Server-Level Redirects: Sometimes, server-level redirects (like those set in .htaccess or server configuration) can override plugin settings. Check if there are any server-level redirects affecting this URL.

    4. Clear Cache: If you are using any caching plugins or server-side caching, clear the cache to ensure that you are seeing the most recent changes.

    5. Check for Theme/Plugin Conflicts: Deactivate other plugins temporarily to see if there’s a conflict causing this redirect to malfunction. Also, switch to a default theme to rule out theme-related issues.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern, and we hope to help you resolve it soon!
