Since changing CDN cannot run SEO analyser

    Rank Math free

Installed and set up Rank Math SEO yesterday. Imported settings from and deactivated Yoast.
Connected with Google API. I activated and linked IndexNow. All good.
But when I ran SEO analyser, there was an image of mobile error (500 I think) which was linked to Cloudflare.

When I spoke to my hosts yesterday, I ended up moving my CDN from Cloudflare to them – Siteground CDN. And now if I run the SEO analyser it comes up with the error message:

    API error: HTTP 400 error.

I have checked with the hosts and the ip and web details are all whitelisted. The domain is showing as 200 when I check.

This morning I receive an email saying no stats to show.

I have tried deactivating the CDN to see if that makes any difference but still the same error.
I have also flushed the SEO Analyser cache. Same problem.

What do you suggest? I can send screenshot if you want.
Please advise urgently as I am now between the devil and the deep blue sea with one plugin disabled and the other not working properly.

    Thank you so much

  • I have tried disabling all the plugins to see if any incompatibility. But no change.

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Thank you. Much better.
But I’m still getting an error on mobile version, a little further down the page from the screenshot you sent. Have added picture of that.

Oddly, this was the first error message I received, showing that Cloudflare was CDN, and what precipitated my move from Cloudflare to Siteground CDN (hopefully a good move?). I’m no longer with Cloudflare so I am mystified by the error shown. Any idea? The mobile version seems to be loading fine on all browsers and on 4G.So why the error?

    Thank you so much
    Rosanna

    Hello,

The mobile error message might be a residual cache.

Please ensure you clear caches from SiteGround’s CDN, your website, and your browser.

If it persists confirm with SiteGround that their firewall or security settings aren’t blocking Rank Math’s API.

We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns.

    Thank you.

    Good morning
I have flushed Rank Math SEO analyser, the SG cache and my browser and am still getting error message on the mobile snapshot (final image on the sensitive data). It no longer mentions Cloudflare, but it does say it cannot access the site, although there seems to be full information in the analyser report when I run it.
When I questioned them on Tuesday with the initial Cloudflare error showing on mobile snapshot, they said that Rank Math was whitelisted, but if you can give me the exact details – ip addresses or whatever – I can check again.

    Hello,

We use an external service to generate the mobile snapshot. It must be having issues when trying to crawl the site to generate the preview and now the snapshot is cached. You will have to wait for a few days for the snapshot to be updated.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Hi. I’m afraid that I’m a getting an error message again when running seo analyzer.
    API error HTTP 400
This is what happened last week.
Someone very kindly hopped onto my site and sorted it. But it is happier ing again

    Please advise

That part of it has been resolved now. The Siteground Premium CDN option of Under Attack was causing the error.
I am going to wait a few days for the mobile cache to clear as that is still showing an error.
Will report back in a few days.

    Hello,

That’s alright, let us know how this goes.

Meanwhile, please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you have other questions to assist you further.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
