Do you have any caching in your site ? If you do, please add each of the sitemap URLs to be excluded from caching then clear your cache and resave your permalinks & sitemap settings. This will make sure the sitemap gets updated with every post published.

To exclude your URLs from caching, you should find the exclude option in your caching setup(it is usually different for different plugins). You can check your setup documentation to find where you should add the exclusions. In the exclusion lists, you should add all your sitemap URLs.

/post-sitemap.xml
/page-sitemap.xml
[...add any other sitemap on your site ..]

To resave your sitemap settings, head to Rank math > Sitemap Settings and click save.

To resave your permalink settings head to WordPress dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and click save.

If you are still unable to do this, we can look into it for you. Just edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

I moved your data to the sensitive section. Your site however doesn’t seem to load for me currently, I get an error the site took too long to respond.

Please ensure your site and the access data shared are working by confirming in a private browser then let us know so we can look into this further.

Caching setup can be either that you installed a caching plugin, which you can confirm if you have by heading to WordPress Dashboard > Plugins. If you don’t have any caching plugin then check with your host to confirm if there is any server caching enabled. If there is no caching enabled anywhere then you don’t need to worry about excluding your URLs.

The point to excluding sitemap from caching is to make sure the sitemap is updated always when a new post is published. Cached sitemaps usually have issues updating and most times result to a html error on GSC
