Shows Add Focus Keyword to your SEO Meta Description. But it already exists in description as shown here: https://nimb.ws/cVSMRaB How to fix it?
-
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out about the issue you are facing with the focus keyword in your SEO Meta Description. To address this concern, you can follow these steps:
-
Check the Length: Ensure that the focus keyword appears within the first 120-160 characters of your SEO Meta Description.
-
Update the Meta Description: If the focus keyword is already present but the test is not passing, try rephrasing the description slightly to trigger Rank Math to detect it correctly.
-
Refresh the Analysis: After updating the Meta Description, refresh the analysis in Rank Math to see if the test now passes.
If after following these steps, the issue persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Hello,
Thank you for your patience.
Please share the affected URL so we can check as well.
Meanwhile, Rank Math checks the content by scanning the exact match of the keyword to pass the test.
Looking forward to helping you.

Hello,
Please ensure that you are using the latest version of Rank Math plugin. If not yet, please do update them. You may refer to our changelog page here: https://rankmath.com/changelog/
Then, on the affected page, update the page without changing anything. See if the test is still showing as “failed”
If the issue persists, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
I have added wp logins. Please check once.
Hello,
Please note that our plugin can only generate the preview for SEO description when the post type has editor support. The Landing Pages CPT on your site doesn’t have editor support, so a preview for SEO description isn’t generated, and the post is failing the ‘keyword in SEO description’ test.
Please check the settings of the theme or plugin you have used to create the CPT and enable editor support to fix the issue.
Also, the issue only affects the SEO description preview in the backend. The correct description will be added to the page source in the front end. So, you can also ignore the test and preview if you can’t enable editor support.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
