Should I install RankMath on clean/fresh WordPress?

    Hi, when should I install RankMath? I’m just starting an e-commerce website, and my site has no post/blog, no pages yet… Should I install RankMath on an “empty” site and start adding pages or it will be better to create some pages first and only after I have some content then install RankMath?
    Also, I don’t want google to see my site before it’s ready, What should I do? 1) Not to connect to google consul? 2) Work and experiment on staging site? 3) not install RankMath until I have content ready?

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    It is better to install Rank Math on a fresh site. This way you will be able to optimize the content of your pages, posts, and products as you start adding them and will have a fully SEO optimized site when you are ready to make it live.

    And to stop Google from indexing your site, please navigate to WP Dashboard > Settings > Reading and Check the Search engine visibility option.
