Several tags on Search Console

    Hi there,

    I’ve just set up Search Console on a site with RankMath plugin via General Settings –> Webmaster Tools. When I gained access it looks like the client has already set it up before becuase there was a data back minimum 16 months. My question is: Now that I’ve used a HTML tag with RankMath plugin does it then appear twice on the site and should I delete it?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

    I’ve checked the website connected to your Rank Math account, and the HTML verification tag is only added once.

    However, if your client already connected the website to the Google account, then the HTML verification can be skipped as it automatically verifies the site upon doing so.
