Which version of WordPress are you using? If you are using the last one (WordPress 5.5), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
We have also found that the WordPress team published a plugin to fix this issue meanwhile the theme developers update their themes to work with the latest WordPress version. You can download it here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/#description
