For your attachments to be set to index by default, head over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Attachments and enable this option
Once done, select the index check box and save the changes.

Thank you for your answer. The problem is that under Attachements (in German Anhänge) there is no box to ceck.

You will have to disable the Redirect Attachments option from WP Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Links. Once disabled, you will be able to set the Attachments as index in WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Attachments.
However, this option sets the attachment pages as index. The images are already indexable in Rank Math and you don’t need to set the attachment pages as index in order to get your images indexed.
An attachment page or media page is a page WordPress automatically creates when you upload an attachment (say for example an image) to your site. These attachments are stored in the database as posts, which makes them accessible under their own URLs.

This helped very much, thank you. I set the attachments to index no, as all the pictures I uploaded as Index can be found in Googles photo search, but all the ones that were automaticaly set to no index could not be found there. Now I changed every new photo to index manually and hope they get crawled in the near future.
