set embed image size

#375826
  • Hi there,

I’m using the Embed function in WordPress and embedding two different posts to display in a third post. The image for each post displaying in the Embed block is very different (one much larger), and my developer said I should change the open graph tags for my posts to achieve a consist small image when I embed posts. He said Yoast has a place to change open graph tags for Facebook and Twitter, does Rank Math have something similar?

    Thanks

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

Could you please share the affected URL so we can check as well?

Meanwhile, yes, you can update or change the OpenGraph image of your pages in Rank Math’s Social image tab. You can check this link for more information:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/meta-box-social-tab/

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

Thanks for your response. The page with the picture issue is https://www.happynaturaldog.com/. If you scroll to the “most popular posts” list you will see that the post that is about Crash Tested Dog Seat Belts has a picture that is much bigger than the others.

I don’t want to set a static picture for every post (if I do the instructions you sent me the picture would be the same for each, correct?), what I want id for each picture in the embeds to be roughly the same size.

    Is that possible?

    Thanks,
    Karen

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math for help setting a default social media image for all your posts, and sorry for the delay in replying.

To set a default social media image, please navigate to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Global Meta and under the open graph thumbnail, click “Add or upload file” to set the default social image and click “Save changes”

    Hope that helps.
