Before installing Rank Math:
I made my website using WordPress and Elementor as page builder. My site title was Mobile Tire Shop, tire delivery and installation Orlando FL | Restires.com, it was set in Settings > General > Site Title.
The site title was displaying correctly on google results
After installing Rank Math:
I decided to install Rank Math since there are many people using it, it has good reviews and positive opinions on YouTube.
I went ahead and follow the setup wizard, then I selected the homepage on Pages > All Pages > Homepage and clicked on edit to access the Rank Math sidebar, from there I used the “Edit Snippet” and placed the page title there “Mobile Tire Shop, tire delivery and installation Orlando FL | Restires.com” and description “Order New Tires Online. We bring the tire shop at the confort of your doorstep. Fast tire delivery, tire install and repair. Orlando, FL, USA.”
Then I went to Settings > General and proceed to delete site title and description from there (to prevent any issues between the site configuration and the Rank Math plugin)
The problem:
The site title now appears only as “Restires”. So im not sure what to do, I don’t know if I should just wait for google to update the information about my website, or maybe I should just write the site title back on settings > general.
Thanks in advance, I would really like to know what is the right way to fix this.
