    Hello Team RankMath,

I notice in the SERP that my archive product categories are displaying the price of one product only while we do not want to show a price for an archive product categories. In RankMath > SEO Title & Meta, the Remove Snippet Data option has always been enable (solution given by RankMath AI Support). Could you tell me what is the process to remove the Price?

Please check video to see the settings and visual explanations of the issue.

    Thanks for your help,
    Kind regards,
    Sophie

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the price displaying in your archive product categories on the SERP. Thank you for raising this concern.

To remove the price from your product archive pages, you can follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta → Product Categories.
    2. Scroll down to the product category tab.
    3. Ensure that the Remove Snippet Data option is turned On. This option is designed to remove Rich Snippet data, including prices, from your product category archive pages.

If you have already done this and the price is still appearing, it may be necessary to check if there are any other settings or plugins that might be affecting the display of prices in your archives.

If the issue persists, please reply to this ticket with more details or any specific settings you have configured, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

    Thank you for your understanding!

    Hello,

We checked the schema in the affected product archive page and found no product schema nor any instance of any price data: https://validator.schema.org/#url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.swhales.eu%2Fmarketplace%2Ffashion%2Fclothing%2Fwomen%2Fbags%2F

Google is likely picking up the product data automatically and this is possibly because that is the only product on the archive page.

Even though you’ve enabled the “Remove Snippet Data” option in Rank Math, the price is likely being pulled directly from the product itself, which Google can sometimes still detect.

You can ignore it for now; hopefully, when more products are in the same archive page and Google recrawls your site, the issue will be resolved.

    2. While not recommended if you want to remove most of the possibility of the price showing when Google recrawls and updates its data, you can check your theme settings or product listing options to see if there’s an option to hide individual product prices on archive pages.

If your theme doesn’t have that option, you might need to add some custom CSS or modify the template to prevent prices from being displayed for products on archive pages.

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
