    Hi there,

I am using your plugin on this site: https://prioritymarbella.com/.

Please find below the details regarding the content settings:

    >>> Settings > General Settings > Site Title: “Priority Marbella”

    >>> Home Page: Page Title is “Home”

    >>> Home Page > Rank Math SEO Snippet: Title is set to “Priority Marbella – Luxury Villa & Apartment Rentals”

However, when I search for the site on Google, it displays “Priority Marbella: Home” instead of the intended “Priority Marbella – Luxury Villa & Apartment Rentals.”

Could you please assist in fixing this issue?

For your reference, I updated the page SEO title approximately one month ago.

Thank you, and I look forward to your support.

    Best regards,
    Vishal

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the SEO title not updating as expected. It can be frustrating when changes do not reflect in search results.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check Site Title Settings: Ensure that your site title is correctly set in WordPress Dashboard → Settings → General. You mentioned it is set to "Priority Marbella," which is correct.

    2. Homepage Title Settings: Since you have set the homepage title in Rank Math to "Priority Marbella – Luxury Villa & Apartment Rentals," make sure that this is saved correctly. You can verify this by going to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta → Homepage.

    3. Google Indexing: Sometimes, it takes time for Google to re-crawl your site and update the search results. You can expedite this process by submitting your sitemap to Google Search Console or requesting indexing for your homepage.

    4. Check for Caching: If you are using any caching plugins, clear the cache to ensure that the latest changes are reflected.

    5. Structured Data: Ensure that your structured data is set up correctly, as this can influence how your site appears in search results. You can enable the Schema module in Rank Math and fill out the necessary fields under Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta → Local SEO.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Please note that it is common for Google to do this nowadays. Even when everything is fine, Google may choose to display a different meta title and description for a search result.

Google sometimes adjusts the title and description according to the search intent. Google may choose to display a different meta title for search query results. Google may sometimes ignore the custom metadata you have set and instead display something from the page’s content that better matches the search intent.
