SEO Score inside Dashboard is different from that in Elementor Page Editor

    Hello, I have problem that the SEO score is different from place to place. Moreover, the SEO score inside elementor builder is broken: anything changed inside the page does not change the SEO score. Also the snippet is different from place to place as well!

    That is correct. You can update the changes in Elementor, but the score does not update as you are making the changes. But when you go the page directly, it does show the correct score.

    Also, I noticed when updating score for a page using WordPress (not Elementor) it shows the updated score when in edit mode on the page itself, but when I go to Pages it does not show the updated score like at https://i.imgur.com/GrNYM4a.png

    I did the troubleshooting mode and i couldn’t find the plugin problem. This ia purely rank math bug

    Hi,

    Thanks a lot for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

    Are you using Shortcodes inside the content?

    If so, then there will always be a difference between WordPress & Elementor as Elementor renders Shortcodes whereas WordPress does not. That impacts the score calculation.

    Unfortunately, there is no workaround for this. Sorry.

    Where can I check whether i am using shortcodes? As per my knowledge i don’t use any. Thanks

    Thanks for the reply.

    Elementor will use shortcodes to display the data, this might not be directly visible but it is what is causing the scores not to tally with the ones from the WP editor.
