Hi there,
1.) I have an article link on my menu bar to ALL of my posts. It isn’t a post in and of itself, so not sure why Rank is attempting to have it be part of my SEO. Only the posts themselves should have SEO, and that part is fine. My only concern is if the posts will be crawled.
2.) I don’t want ANY of my 4 forms to have SEO, and 1 page (Terms and Conditions), and like the above, there seems to be a push to do so. Can I just ignore this request to input SEO related info?
3.) I’m getting error messages that I need to provide focus keywords. As far as I can tell, I have provided these on each page and post where I want SEO. I didn’t find anything named “focus keyword” under an edit box, or wherever your instructions said to look, and doing an edit doesn’t make this appear either (as per your instructions too). I have the Divi theme classic, not builder. Is that why I can’t find it?
Thank you for your assistance!

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
1. Could you please share the link so we can check it as well? If you wanted to share screenshots, you can upload using this tool and add the link here.
2. Yes, you can ignore the tests from the Rank Math analyzer for those kinds of pages. Please stay advised that these tests are just guidelines, and one does not need to follow them religiously.
3. Are you referring to that test in the SEO Analyzer? If you have already added the focus keyword, head over to Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > and click the
Clear SEO Analysis
andRemove Transients
buttons to flush the SEO Analysis cacheOnce done, clear your website and any server-level caching on your site before doing the Sitewide analysis again.
Let us know how this goes.
Thank you.
Hi,
Firstly, THANK YOU so much for your reply with detailed instruction! For someone who is not a techie, it is much appreciated!
I did as requested: cleared SEO, removed transients, and cleared cache. Nothing changed. I am attaching screenshots.
Awaiting your next instruction…

4 – SzsVCrr.pngHello,
Thank you for getting back to us.
1. This test is calling to your attention the fact that some images on the pages do not have ALT tags, which are recommended for search engine optimization If you’re not interested in optimizing this page for search engines, you can just ignore this test and the scores that Rank Math gives you. They are only suggestions, not rules. As long as this page is in your sitemap, it should be crawled by search engines without any problem.
2. If the form you’re referring to here is a post type, then you can turn off SEO controls from Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Post Types > Forms > Add SEO Controls. But if the form you’re referring to is not a post type, then you can just ignore the SEO suggestions that Rank Math gives you for those pages.
3. This is what the Rank Math meta box looks like: https://i.rankmath.com/i/fFpsxP. The focus keyword is meant to go in the field marked ‘Focus Keyword’. If you don’t see the meta box on your editor, it might be because you’ve hidden it in your screen options. You can find out how to enable it here: https://rankmath.com/kb/why-rank-math-meta-box-is-not-showing/#why-meta-box-not-showing-classic-editor. Learn more about the meta box here and how to troubleshoot the meta box not showing here.
We hope this helps you understand the issue better. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask us.
Thank you for choosing Rank Math as your SEO plugin.
Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
Perhaps the screenshots I sent and my descriptions of the issues wasn’t clear.
1.) I HAVE given ALT tags to EVERY image in my media library, and each indicates the particular keyword for the page on which it is being used. Your SEO analyzer, even after following the steps to clear the SEO, remove transients, and super clear the cache, I am still getting error messages that ALT tags are missing. Again, they are not. See the error message in the screenshot (jYsjlbW.png) I sent in my previous response.
2.) I have no idea what you mean with your response. It doesn’t seem to correspond to my question. As long as having a PAGE dedicated to my POSTS (see screenshots 1TR1c5K.png and SzsVCrr.png), which WILL NOT have SEO, doesn’t effect my POSTS attached to that PAGE, and those POSTS will be crawled, I’m fine. The POSTS themselves all have SEO working.
3.) When I use your SEO analyzer, I am getting error messages saying 5 pages don’t have a focus keyword, and another error message that says post titles are missing focus keywords on 6 pages and 1 post (see screenshot gC18nEE.png). This isn’t true. ALL pages and posts have focus words and those focus words are used in the title of each page and post (see screenshot SzsVCrr.png). Again, I followed the instructions provided to clear the SEO, remove transients, and super clear the cache. It didn’t work. I am still getting the same error messages when I run the analyzer.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
I am not comfortable with allowing anyone access to my site.
If there is no other way, perhaps I should just temporarily disable the Math Rank plugin, then reactivate? Maybe that would help?
Hello,
We understand the situation about logging in to your live site.
However, disabling the plugin would not be much help in these cases.
1. For the Image ALT Attribute issues, those images indeed do not have the ALT in the source code. Please refer to this screencast on how to check them (notice the 3rd image where the ALT attribute is properly showing): https://i.rankmath.com/v/x7fUHY
If you have already added the ALT to your media gallery, then you can get in touch with your theme provider to help you add the ALT to the images on your homepage.
2. Please note that the SEO Analyzer includes all the posts and pages on your site that are set to index. So if those pages/forms are indexed, the Analyzer tool will treat them the same as your posts.
So, you can safely ignore the tests to them as you mentioned that they don’t hold much SEO value. That will also not affect your posts since they have their own.
3. It is difficult to check this without logging in to your site. However, you can click the words 5 Pages or 6 Pages or 1 Post in your screenshot, and it will display all the pages/posts that don’t have focus keywords.
Alternatively, you can create a staging site with the same issue so we can investigate the issue further by sharing its login.
Here is a guide that could be really useful for you on how to create a staging site: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/
Let us know how this goes.
Thank you.
Hi Reinelle,
Can I have you always? You always present things in such a way so that I can understand. AND, you always address my issue, without bypassing it or misunderstanding it. THANK YOU!
1.) Okay, I think the issue with the ALT tags is that the new info I’ve entered is not actually updating in my media library. It could be due to the original being uploaded in 2016-2017, and there is a glitch. I will remove the old and upload new, and see if that helps. It should create a new URL with the correct info. I’m sending screenshots for you to see what it looks like currently in the library (before I make changes).
2.) Thank you for explaining about the pages with noindex. I understand perfectly!
3.) The 6 pages and 1 post that SEO analyzer is saying: “Post Titles Missing Focus Keywords”, I am sending various screenshots of two of those pages: FAQ and Home. From what I can tell, I have used the focus keywords in all the post titles, including FAQ and Home. However, 2 different pages were missing the page title in the URL. I fixed them.
Thank you!

13 – mfbOBBv.pngHello,
1.) Sure, do let us know how that goes. Checking your homepage again, I can confirm the portrait photo has alt text in them except for the Paypal image. After addressing that, you can try to test it in the SEO Analyzer again.
2.) We are glad that we could address your concern here.
3.) Please note that the SEO title and the actual post title are different and to pass the test, you need to mention the focus keyword in the actual post title. See the screenshot below where you can see the focus keyword and the post title isn’t matching:
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need my assistance with anything else.
