    Rank Math free

Hi – I’m using Rank Math SEO for my website. It doesn’t work on Product Pages where Elementor Template is imported using a shortcode – [elementor-template id=”234″].

    I followed the process – https://rankmath.com/kb/enable-rank-math-on-elementor-templates/
This process provides good pointers on enabling Rank Math for Elementor. But this enables to only Templates. SEO setting for each template gives only an added advantage if I’m indexing them. But I don’t want to index templates.

I’m using Shortcode on the Product Page – Text Editor. When Rank Math detects the length it displayed 65 words long where as if I consider content in the template imported then the length should be 600+.

Please let me know How to solve this?
    Thanks

  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing with Rank Math SEO on your Product Pages where Elementor Templates are imported using a shortcode.

To address this concern, you can follow these steps:

    1. Add the Filter: To enable Rank Math SEO on Elementor Template pages, you need to add a filter to your theme’s rank-math.php file. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this in the following guide: Enable Rank Math SEO on Elementor Templates.

    2. Exclude Indexing: If you don’t want to index the templates but still want to optimize the content within them, you can exclude them from indexing in your SEO settings. This way, you can benefit from Rank Math’s SEO features without having the templates indexed.

    3. Content Length Discrepancy: If there is a discrepancy in the content length detected by Rank Math, make sure that the content within the imported Elementor template is being properly recognized. You may need to ensure that the content is accessible and visible for Rank Math to analyze accurately.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to reply here, and our support team will be happy to help you further.

Thank you for reaching out with your concern.

I did the same process as suggested by the bot.

Let me share a brief with you.
I wanted to show Accordion on the product pages. You know that Woocommerce Product Page Editor has no support for Accordion.
So, As I’m using elementor and I created accordions in the templates. These templates – Elementor >> Saved Templates.
Each Template has a shortcode [elementor-template_id=’245′]. I used this shortcode in the product page editor.
As I want Rank Math to provide perfect score and indexing, I checked the product page content length – It pointed that the content length is 65 words long where as 600 minimum words required.

But 600 words are existing in the template I imported using short-code but this isn’t solving the problem for content length at all. It still shows 65 words long.

Please do suggest a way to solve this problem!

    Thank you so much.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that this issue might have caused.

Since you are adding the content from the Elementor templates using shortcodes on the default editor, Rank Math may not be able to access the content of the shortcode from the edit area. The shortcodes are not fully parsed in the edit area but on the live page.

So you can simply ignore the tests as the SEO score is only for your reference and will not affect your site’s SEO performance. Web crawlers will be able to detect the correct word count and that’s what matters. You can also disable the tests by using the following filters on your site:https://rankmath.com/kb/disable-seo-content-tests/#length-of-the-content
    https://rankmath.com/kb/disable-seo-content-tests/#keyword-density

Here is how to add the filters to your site: https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
