SEO description - Support

Hello RM,

karengorden.us here.

The Description entered in the RM Snippet for my Contact page is:
<<Contact conductor Karen Gorden’s worldwide management: Olga Gilson, Director of Gilson Concert Artists.>>

However, this is not appearing under the Contact page for karengorden.us when I do an online search. Some other phrase comes up.

I waited a week to see if this would change, but it hasn’t.

With RankMath, the Description is supposed to come up when doing a search. Can you please help me correct this?

I’ve checked the description on the search results, and it is already showing the description you have set in Rank Math. Please see the attached screenshot in the sensitive data section

Also, I’ve noticed that the URL for your contact page has an incorrect structure. You should only put the word contact in Rank Math’s permalinks settings upon editing the page like this:

I will change the permalinks – thanks!

Your screenshot looks good. However, when I do a search it still doesn’t come up correctly. I tried refreshing the page and browser, but that didn’t help. Is there anything more I can do?

Rank Math business

Hello,

It is a pretty common thing with Google these days. It happens with 70% of the results and we even have a KB dedicated to this problem and a few solutions we recommend:

Please check the KB and you will understand the reasons Google does this.

Google has made some changes to their algorithm which automatically changes the meta tags, discarding the one you have set in your SEO meta tag. This happens regardless of the SEO plugin you are using.
