I have a strange problem.
After installing Rank Math on a second site I ran SEO Analysis before starting the tuning process.
In Search Preview it displays possibly the least relevant page on the site – basically a 404 dump page.
I sent the page to trash to see if running SEO Analysis again would pick up the home page but it returns “API Error: HTTP 400 error.”
Disabling
- everything
other than Rank Math with the Health Check & Troubleshooting plug-in and the error above remains.
With the errant page still in trash, I even tried removing Rank Math and re-installing, to see if running SEO Analysis would pick up the home page but the error remained until the ‘wrong page’ was reinstated from trash.
I have run permalinks again but no joy. Also interestingly, Rank Math intermittently flags up warnings for “Too many H1” & “Title too long” etc which go away after a while. Strange because the dump page has a single word title and almost nil content!
I would be very obliged if you could please offer some guidance for I know Rank Math is totally fabulous and works brilliantly elsewhere. I suspect there is something on my site which it isn’t happy with!
Cheers!
