    Rank Math free

Since I installed Rank Math our site’s ranking has crashed. When I re-ran the SEO analysis it had gone from 83 to 45 on the Rank Math score.

Some of the errors identified include data schema and no meta description or title. But I do have a meta description and title set on the homepage and have also filled in the part of Rank Math for that too.

When I check the schema they are defaulted to Article, which is fine. So why does it say I have a schema problem.? Do i need to resubmit my site map to google?

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Have you tried flushing the SEO analysis data in Rank math > Status & Tools > Database tools ?

I tried accessing your site but it seems to redirect me to other URLs, check the screencast I have added in the sensitive section.

You can check your URL with our SEO Analyzer which is similar to the SEO analysis tool on your site: https://rankmath.com/tools/seo-analyzer/

    Looking forward to helping you.

Ah, so maybe the redirect issue was the problem. Would that explain the stuff in rank math saying I had no title when I do etc? I also got an automated message from wordpress the day after I opened this ticket saying that Rank Math plugin had created a fatal error when the site loads. I had to deactiveate the plugin to get the site back up but didn’t realise it was redirecting. Will get godaddy to fix the redirect and see if I can reactivate rank math withoutt any errors, then start again… Thanks for your help so far

    Hello,

We are glad we could help. Please work on disabling the redirect issue then clear your cache, flush SEO analysis data and test again.

If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.

ok – fixed the redirect issue. tried to reaactivate rank math and I get the following error:

Fatal error: Namespace declaration statement has to be the very first statement or after any declare call in the script in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/seo-by-rank-math/includes/class-settings.php on line 11

    Hello,

I have sent this issue to the dev team so they can check it in depth. To help them, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,
