H Suhas,
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
I have replied to your other post on someone else’s ticket.
You can use this filter to change canonical URLs per your preference:
https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#change-canonical-url
Please note that we do not offer support for customizations that are not part of the plugin. If you are not familiar with coding, you can consult a coder to customize the filter for your situation. Do note that we neither support this type of edit and neither do we recommend doing this having provided the reason above already.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Hi Todd,
Thank you for the response, I understand.
However, I would like to mention that it would be of great help to many SEO’s if this feature is added in the near future update. The reason being, by default – Rank Math handles custom pages pagination with 2 options,
Option – 1: No Index
Option – 2: Canonical to the main page – This is not the right method as we know.
Hello,
I will send those suggestions to the dev team and maybe they can add them to a future update.
Meanwhile, we are super happy that this resolved your issue. If you have any other questions in the future, know that we are here to help you.
If you don’t mind me asking, could you please leave us a review (if you haven’t already) on https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/seo-by-rank-math/reviews/#new-post about your overall experience with Rank Math? We appreciate your time and patience.
If you do have another question in the future, please feel free to create a new forum topic, and it will be our pleasure to assist you again.
Thank you.
Has this been fixed? does not seem so but I also think it should be changed like suggested in this post already.
Hello,
As suggested, the feature is not yet added in the plugin but you can use the filter provided to customize the same.
If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.
