    Dear Rank Math Support Team,

    I keep receiving the following notification in my WordPress dashboard:

    “Seems like your site URL has changed since you connected to Rank Math. Click here to reconnect.”

    I have followed all the steps mentioned in your article, including:

    Reconnecting multiple times

    Adding the recommended filter

    However, the notification still appears, and nothing seems to resolve the issue. Could you please advise on what else I can do to fix this?

    Thank you in advance for your help.

    Best regards,
    Branka

  • Hello,

    We apologize for the issue you are facing with the notification regarding your site URL. It can be frustrating when you’ve already tried the recommended steps without success.

    Here are a few additional steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check WordPress and Site URLs: Ensure that both the WordPress URL and Site URL are the same. You can check this by navigating to WordPress Dashboard → Settings → General. Both URLs should match for a proper connection.
      Check the site URL

    2. Clear Caches: If you haven’t already, please try clearing your browser cache, website cache, and any site-level cache plugins you may be using. This can sometimes resolve persistent issues.

    3. Re-add the Filter: If you added the filter to bypass the URL check, ensure that it was added correctly. Here’s the filter again for reference:

      /**
      * Filter whether we need to check for URL mismatch or not.
      */
      add_filter( 'rank_math/registration/do_url_check', '__return_false' );

      After adding it, try reconnecting your Rank Math account again.

    4. Check for Plugin Conflicts: Sometimes, other plugins can interfere with Rank Math’s functionality. Try deactivating other plugins temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.

    If you have tried all these steps and the issue persists, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that we can assist you further. A human agent from our support team will take over and provide more specific guidance.

    Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to resolving this for you!

    Hello,

    In this case, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Sensitive Data Section

    It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

    You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    We really look forward to helping you.

    I shared the login information and which website is in question

    Hello,

    We connected your Rank Math account, but no longer able to see the notice.

    If you face the issue again on your website, please share a screenshot here using a tool like https://imgur.com/upload so that we can check the issue further for you.

    Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    But why does it always say that I have a redirect issue? I never had this problem before – it only started happening recently, ever since I had this issue with Rank Math. I’m also experiencing the same problem on two other websites that I built in the last four days.

    I just logged into WordPress again, and as you can see, the same notification is still showing up.

    Hello,

    The redirection issue you see is a domain-related redirection which our plugin doesn’t handle. You’ll have to follow this guide to resolve it: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-redirect-www-urls-to-non-www/

    This affects how the activation is handled which is why Rank Math thinks you’ve changed the URL:

    Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any other questions.

    Hello,
