Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with connecting your website to Rank Math. It seems that your website is not appearing in the Search Console section during the Setup Wizard’s analytics stage.
To resolve this, please ensure that you have created and verified your website property in Google Search Console. If you haven’t done this yet, Rank Math can help you with the verification process automatically. Once verified, your website should appear in the Site drop-down list.
Here’s how you can connect your website to the Search Console:
- Go to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics.
- Check the Site drop-down list for your website.
- If it’s still not listed, please make sure that your Google account has access to the Search Console for that website.
If you continue to experience issues, we recommend testing the connection by clicking on the Test Connections option in the Analytics settings. A green signal indicates a valid connection, while a red signal indicates a problem.

If the problem persists even after verifying your site in Google Search Console and testing the connections, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.
Thank you for raising this concern!

I dont have the test connection button, tried removing Rank math access from the google account and adding it back, but still the site is not showing.
Hello,
In this case, you can skip the Google connection process in the Setup Wizard.
Please verify using the URL prefix and ensure that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).

You can follow our guide here to create the URL Prefix property:
https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/#num-1-1-open-google-search-console
The URL-prefix property also helps keep your sitemap in sync with Google Search Console as we submit it automatically for you. In addition, the domain property won’t work correctly on some sections of the Analytics module such as the IndexStatus.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thanks, that was very helpful, I have connected my site to google console. FYI my site was still in maintenance mode, once i deactivated that and followed your instructions it worked. Thanks again.
