Hello,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
Please make sure that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (http or https, www or non-www).
Then, please make sure that the Google account you used to connect your Google Search Console profile is the same one you have used to verify your domain on GSC.
If it still doesn’t work, we have found that using a different Google account to verify your domain and connect your website usually works. Or, you can try using the Google Site Kit if it still won’t work and disable the Search Console inside Rank Math by going to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard
I hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
I’m having the same issue. I can’t use a different Google account as it’s the client’s on whose website I’m working on. If I disable the Search Console, will that affect the snippets and keywords I’ve setup on each web page?
This is very frustrating.
I am having the same problem as well. I have tried various google accounts, but I cannot get any of my verification HTML tags to work in my RankMath plugin in my wordpress site. I have tried verifying and unverifying multiple times and nothing is working. Please help!
Hello, I’m also having this exact same issue. My site is verified, but doesn’t show up in the drop-down list.
Found workaround.
Go to https://search.google.com/search-console
click drop-down in top left corner and click add property and add your website with URL Prefix and it should show up after you re-authorize the connection in rank math.
Hello,
Thank you Alana for the update.
@Shawn and @Kayla , please let us know if Alana’s suggestions helps your situations.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

My https url is recoginized in Google Search Console but am still having a problem with it not being recoginized in RankMath. In the Search Console section the url still shows http: instead of https:
Please advise, thanks.
Still awaiting a response to my post above from 15 hours ago.
Thanks.
Have you also tried re-authorizing the connection (disconnecting completely then connect again)?
That’s the only thing else I can think of.
Not clear on re-authorizing the connection, please explain.
Thanks,
Shawn
When you are in the setup wizard of Rank Math and you get to the “Search Console” step. There should be a button that says de-authorize account. Click that and re-connect it and then check the drop-down list again.
Alana,
It worked, thanks a lot.
Shawn
