Search Console is reporting Empty Sitemap

Hello – Google Search Console is showing “Sitemap can be read, but has errors” and the error that is displayed is “Empty Sitemap”.

Further, none of the pages of the website are indexed by Google.

Could you help with this, please.

I have just validated your sitemap on this site https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/validate-xml-sitemap.html?op=validate-xml-sitemap&go=1&sitemapurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.rakkshak.in%2Fsitemap_index.xml&submit=Validate+Sitemap but no errors were reported.
Please delete the current sitemap and upload a new sitemap. It is also important to ensure that you have verified the correct domain property on the search console ie www version of the domain.
