No one from the support can help???
Hello. How come in Search Console it never shows any sitemaps until I refresh and then when they show up they say “0 indexed”?
Don’t know mate, the support doesn’t exist and they pretending that they have the best seo tool. I’m waiting for an answer 3 days and no one bothered. I’m going to leave a bad review on their worpress forum page.
Hi Paul,
Thanks a lot for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.
Cart, Checkout, and the account page are set to noindex.
These pages are extremely thin content and don’t provide any value if added in the Google SERPS. That is why they are set to noindex and that is okay.
As long as the pages open in your browser, there is nothing to be worried about.
> I’m waiting for an answer 3 days and no one bothered
I am sorry but you had opened a ticket 36 hours ago:
Then, you added a new post every few hours which pushes your ticket to the top of the list. We usually answer tickets from the bottom answering the oldest first and that is why there was a delay answering your ticket.
If you continue to face any issue, do not hesitate to let us know.
Thank you.
@collectibles, please open a new ticket with your issue so we can help.
Please make sure that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (http or https, www or non-www).
Then, update the cache at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Search Console.
Then, hit the refresh sitemaps again but wait 2-3 hours before doing so.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Yes i opened this ticket 3-4 days ago and i had to leave a bad comment in order to get an answer. This is not professional at all but anyway lets jump to the google search console issue.
This is not ok as Google shows these problems as errors and not warnings. I understand your point and totally agree that these pages should not be indexed however rank math should give the information needed to Google in order to get them showed as excluded and not showing errors.
Please find below the detailed list of errors I’m currently getting
Error Submitted URL marked ‘noindex’
my-account pageError Submitted URL seems to be a Soft 404
/cart
/checkoutProducts
I’m getting every single warning regarding my products despite the fact that i have filled in the information in my product pages. information related to sku, reviews, description, inventory etc. However, these are warnings and not ERRORS like the coverage issues above.- This reply was modified 4 years, 8 months ago by Paul A..
Hi Paul,
I see the ticket opened 37 hours ago but that is beside the point.
If you check other tickets in this support ticket or others – you will notice that we have been replying to tickets since morning despite it being a weekend.
This is a premium quality plugin we are offering and we are trying our best to offer support faster than any other competitor. If you see our competitors’ support ticket, not answering tickets for weeks is a common-place:
We offer support via multiple channels and although we try our best to reply with 8 hours, it is just not possible sometimes as there are too many tickets to take care of on-top of working on plugin development.
I am sure you would agree that it is not cool to threaten to leave a bad Review for getting support. It was not why you got a reply but we do not appreciate holding our Reviews page hostage for getting support.
Coming to your issue, there is no option to inform Google about the exclusion other than the
noindex
tag. If you are aware of such an option, we would love to hear it.Your cart and checkout pages should return a 200 status code. You can check for the same here: http://www.redirect-checker.org/index.php
If you are getting a 404, that is not caused by Rank Math. You can disable Rank Math temporarily to confirm.
Coming to your product pages, Rank Math takes the schema data from your product pages automatically and turns it into Schema-ready content. Likewise, the aggregateRating and review fields are taken from your actual product reviews that your buyers/customers leave on your products.
https://i.rankmath.com/Ni50EFIf you don’t have any reviews yet, that is going to show up as a warning in the schema testing tool. That’s because Google will actually look for those fields.
Please acquire some reviews and ratings to get rid of the
aggregateRating
andreview
warnings. You can fix the SKU and availability issue quickly as well: https://i.rankmath.com/wtM5aM
To fix the
brand
warning, head over to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > WooCommerce and choose from any of the available fields to use as your product’s brands.
https://i.rankmath.com/Atiq6sIf you want to use a custom value for your Brands, you can do that by using the following code in your theme’s functions.php file:
https://pastebin.com/Uc2wmTSLReplace the “Rank Math” text with your actual brand name then run your website through the Structured Data Testing tool once again.
For the inventory issue, you should enable the manage stock option within your product page:
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let me know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Thanks for your reply
I will not waste our time responding regarding your responsive rate or if my practice where correct or not. From what i saw you’re responding pretty quick and i didn’t get a reply till i left that bad review.Regarding the problems I’m currently having i have tried all the above information and nothing works, i still get these errors.
Products related warnings: I have filled in all the information i have and still getting these warnings regarding review, descrption sku etc.
Coverage errors: I have even excluded those pages (using the wordpress id) and search console still show them as errors.
I dont know if Im missing something but definitely the above information is useless for my case.
If there is any other info i can provide the check yourself and find out what is wrong pls let me know.
Hi Paul,
Please share your product’s link here so we can check.
> Coverage errors: I have even excluded those pages (using the wordpress id)
Where and how did you exclude them?
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
> Coverage errors: I have even excluded those pages in sitemap settings > general settings > Exclude posts (using the wordpress id) Dont know if this is the correct way and if i have excluded them or this section is only for posts…
Please let me know
Hope we can fix this soon.Hi Paul,
Even if you exclude the posts from sitemap, Google will still see them if you are linking to them from other pages of your website. So, the noindex tag is doing its job correct by telling Google not to index the cart page.
Google Search Console is just reporting that facts – that the cart/checkout page is set to noindex. They don’t know it is done on purpose. I guess the solution would be to mark those low content pages as index but that is a choice you have to make and we wouldn’t recommend doing that.
About the product reviews, it seems you are using Judge.me which is where the warnings are coming from. If you check your page here: https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/
You will see 2 sets of product Review. One from Rank Math and the other from Judge.me
The first one is from Rank Math and has 4 warnings. That is because Rank Math cannot “see” the reviews added using Judge.me. We only see the reviews added using WooCommerce’s native interface.
To connect Rank Math schema with Judge.me, please add following code in your theme’s functions.php file:
add_filter( 'rank_math/snippet/rich_snippet_product_entity', function( $entity ) { global $post; $entity['@id'] = get_the_permalink( $post ); return $entity; });
For GTIN, Rank Math reads the value from the product attributes. Have you added GTIN attribute on your products page?
Hi Todd
Ok i have now added the code to my funcions.php file.
Do I need to refresh somehow rank math to send that information to Google quicker?Hi Paul,
You can place a manual indexing request or clicking the “validate fix” button to speed up the process.
Otherwise, you have to wait a few days until Google revisits and re-crawls your pages.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Ok thank you for your help
Will let you know in the next few days if that fixed the issueRegards
PaulHello,
