Hi!
I have been trying to setup analytics through rankmath. I am trying to connect and save the analytics general settings. The search console keeps saying “some permissions are missing, please reconnect” when I test connections and hover over the red dot.
Also, when I save the settings, I see an error in search console saying “data import will not work for this service as sufficient permissions are not given.”
I tried removing all permissions for rankmath in google and trying to reconnect as the support articles recommend. But, it hasn’t worked.
Second part of my question:
I selected “install analytics code” in the analytics section. Since I was trying to reconnect a few times, would it have installed the analytics code multiple times ie everytime it tries to reconnect?Thank you!

Check Permissions: After reconnecting, ensure that all necessary permissions are granted. You can check this in your Google Account under Security → Third-party apps with account access.

Save Changes: After reconnecting, select all values in the drop-down list in the Analytics settings and click on Save Changes. You should see a notice indicating that data is being imported after a few moments.

Regarding your second question about the analytics code installation: If you selected "install analytics code" multiple times while trying to reconnect, it is possible that the code may have been installed more than once. Please ensure that you have verified your email/account as the owner of the property. Go to your Google Search Console > Settings > Users and permissions:
Once done, please try to reconnect your Rank Math account again by following this guideline: https://rankmath.com/kb/analytics-issues/#expired-google-oauth-token
Regarding the Analytics code, if you’ve already enabled the “Install analytics code” option, please try to clear your website cache including any server-level cache, and check again.

We can see that the analytics code is now installed on your site:
You can confirm this using the Google tag assistant tool: https://tagassistant.google.com/
You should be able to view basic analytics data in the Rank Math Analytics dashboard under Rank Math > Analytics in your WordPress dashboard. It may take some time to populate initially, so check back periodically.
