Hello,
Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/Please let us know if you find the culprit.
Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
Looking forward to helping you.
I am using the latest versions of themes and plugins.
I checked all plugins and themes according to your troubleshooting guide. But there was no problem. When I activated each plugins and themes, I checked the status of Search Console and it was fine.
I am also using Instant Indexing plugin and adjusted according to your blog post (https://rankmath.com/blog/google-indexing-api/).
I am not sure but can it be the reason?
Hi,
Did you try using the Site Kit?
https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-site-kit/Maybe it will work for you?
If so, you can disable the Search Console feature in Rank Math:
WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard.Let us know.
I do not want to use more plugin.
I was using Yoast before and had never such a issue.I removed Rank Math Transients and did reset options. Then, I waited a few days and it was fine. But till the last update!
Now when I click Get Authorization Code button loading icon appears and then disappears after while. When I click only Authorize button, it is same. Not working.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Could you please try clearing transients and trying again, since as you say, this seems to have solved your issue before.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
I rolled back to previous version of RM, authorized then updated the plugin. Right now it seems fine. But I will wait for a while. I will inform you about the issue.
Hello,
Thank you for the update.
We have also released an update of the plugin. You can update the same on your site and let us know how it goes.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
I updated Rank Math to 1.0.43.1. Rank Math>Search Console seems working well but I can not see settings in Rank Math>General Settings>Search Console. And when I click the tabs none of them are working. For your information.
I was having issues getting Search Console working with RM 1.0.43.1 as well. I am rolled back to 1.0.42.3 right now to fix the rankmath authorization issue, but the search console activation won’t work on this version for me either. I used the suggestion of installing Google Site Kit plugin, this was able to activate and put the correct meta google verification code in the header and everything working correctly. Then after activating with Site Kit, I was able to successfully get Search Console working in RM, since it’s currently authorized (via site kit, which injected the correct google verifictaion meta in the header, which RM was not doing).
Not sure of the issue, but my understanding is taht once you authorize RM (this part works fine with the code you put in), but the next step does not work, even after saving the verification code on the other RM webmaster tools setup page for google site verification (which is what should cause RM to inject the meta into the header, which it isn’t….).
Hopefully this helps with troubleshooting, let me know if you need to login and troubleshoot to help find a solution for this, since this was for a fresh site install that is not working, and it’s very frustrating as a new user to rankmath that I’ve run into the activation issue, and now the google sites verification / search console setup.
I’ve currently got Google Site Kit and Search Console enabled, hopefully it doesn’t hurt anything, as it appears Search Console in RM has one or two features that Site Kit doesn’t, like keyword tracker. Otherwise, I think both have features and is it safe to keep both enabled long-term?
