Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Are you using any page builders to add content to the page?
The difference in the score might be due to how content is loaded on both environments.
Page builders such as Elementor render shortcodes whereas the WordPress editor does not. This causes a difference in the content that is evaluated and thus the difference in the SEO score.
If you are using a page builder, Iād recommend using the score on the edit page.
Unfortunately, there is no workaround for this.
Please note that the guidelines and scores are just for your reference and you do not have to follow them religiously.
Hope that helps you. Thank you.
I do use Elementor. That is unfortunate. š If a client sees a low score, they get frustrated and although it isn’t really that score, showing it seems like an issue.
That is odd that Elementor recommends Rank Math and there is such a large glitch that seems to be a reoccurring issue. Will this ever be corrected? I’ve like to go to the pro account, however, this is a pretty big pain point in the eyes of the end-user/client.
I feel like removing Elementor may not be the best solution, so do we have any other choices? Aside from “just live with it?”
Thanks a bunch for the quick response. š
Hello,
Thanks for getting back.
As my colleague already mentioned, there is currently no workaround for this. The only option that you can use is hiding the SEO score from the page/post list view.
You can do that by unchecking the SEO details column in the Screen Options of your page list view.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any further assistance.
