Score decreasing when updating - Support

Rank Math free

I do SEO edits on product pages and the elements become green and the score increases.

However, often when i press update the score defaults back to a lower score.

E.g. I have 78/100 but i need to make i.e. small paragraphs. I do so and score increases to 81/100.
I press update and then the score says 78/100 again.

Why is that?

Please check if you are using a Firewall, as it may prevent saving the changes.

If you are using a Firewall, please whitelist this route:
/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta

Whitelisting the route should fix the issue.

Whitelisting did not do the trick. Could it be javascript and another plugin intereferring?

I wasn’t able to replicate the issue on your site. If you make the changes, the tests are being passed and the score is updating. If it persists on your end then please create a screencast while replicating the issue and share it with us. You can use a tool like https://loom.com/ to record and share the screencast.

There seems to be an issue indeed or a conflict with another plugin or your theme.
