Schema type, incorrect settings.

    Hello,

    Schema type on my website with Movies online is set to “Article”, must be set to “Video”? https://i.imgur.com/76nTCyL.png
    Since I started using “Rank Math” visitors have started to decrease. I think some settings are incorrect. I only used “keyword focus” in articles but I don’t know what’s going on.

    Can someone help me with a suggestion, something? I am a beginner with the site and I have not used SEO optimization plugins until now. It’s hard for me to understand some things. I want to set it correctly but I don’t know-how.
    Can I provide login data for WordPress if someone can look at the settings or when editing an article to see if they have been wrongly optimized, if anyone can take a look?
    If the situation goes downhill I think I will have to disable the plugin and try something easier for me.

    Video schema seems to be impemented correctly on your website. I tested the schema of several links that I found on your video sitemap (https://totaljav.com/movies-sitemap.xml) and they all have video schema implemented. You can test your schema using Google’s rich results validator.

    Hi,

    In the meantime, until you answer here, I made some changes and I selected here the schema for “Movies” to be on “Video” https://i.imgur.com/GmsOpvV.png.
    It was previously set to “Articles” https://i.imgur.com/MGzIoBF.png.

    So it’s better to leave the Schema on “Video” there?

    Hello,

    It seems that you have missed my colleague’s reply above.

    However, since your post type is about movies, you can leave the default to the Video Schema type. You can check your Google Search Console account for any coverage issues, including the schemas.
