    Hi,

I came across a setting on my theme panel that read:

    ENABLE ARTICLE SCHEMA
This option will enable the schema.org/Article markups in the theme. You can deactivate this, when you use an SEO plugin that comes with its own markups.

There is also a Schema (structured data) module in rank math plugin.

My query is, is the rankmath schema as per schema.org? if yes, is there a difference?
If no, then what is to be done.

    rankmath schema module

Which of the two should be kept active?

    Can both be kept active?

Should the theme option be kept active and deactivate RM schema?

    Terribly confused. Kindly guide.

    Thank You

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math.

Yes, Rank Math follows Schema.org guidelines.

You should only use one plugin to add Schema to the posts/pages.

You can add Article Schema to the post/pages using Rank Math by going to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Posts/Pages > Schema Type > select Article from the dropdown.
    https://rankmath.com/kb/titles-and-meta/#rich-snippet-type

If you want to use the theme option, just disable the Schema module in the Rank Math dashboard to avoid any conflicts.

I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.
