You can leave it to article or select none for the page schema. The main site schema data such as the education site markup is added through local SEO which you can easily add in Rank math > Titles & Meta > Local SEO as the business type.

Schema markup is mostly used to describe what your post/page is about. It is used to differentiate post content on a site an add a more specific content suggestion for the search engine.
Since your homepage is basically a description of your site and other pages, I’d recommend leaving it to none in which case the page will only have the default site related schema

there was no issue at all, i was just asking Michael, on what he recommends to have on homepage for my education website, and he recommends to turn it off 🙂
so there was no off option anymore, that’s why i used delete 🙂
