Schema data for easy digital downloads products plugin

    Hi,

    We are using Easy digital download plugin for our digital products. We have only issues with the Product Schema. Before installing your plugin we manually insert the product schema for our products. As I went through the Rank Math documentation plugin and found you are providing the compatible product schema for Easy digital downloads products.

    But when I went through the rich snippet results test, It showed the below warnings, before installing the plugin we noticed only one warning with offerCount field. Now it’s showing multiple warnings. Please visit these links:: https://ibb.co/M2JH0P0, https://ibb.co/w0kG10c. It’s showing the WooCommerce type schema where so many fields. I think the product schema supports the WooCommerce products. Please let us know can we overcome this with EDD Products?

    Meanwhile, Rank Math’s Easy Digital Downloads integration automatically pulls the product data that has been entered in the EDD Product and adds the Product Schema.

    Hello,

    Rank Math takes the schema data from your EDD products automatically and turns it into Schema-ready content.

    Likewise, the aggregateRating and review fields are taken from your actual product reviews that your buyers/customers leave on your products.

    If you don’t have any reviews yet, that is going to show up as a warning in the schema testing tool. That’s because Google will actually look for those fields.

    Hi,
    Thank you for your kind reply.

    We went through the documentation, It’s all related to WooCommerce settings. So it’s mean we cannot update the settings for EDD products via Rank Math. Before we generating the manually schema for EDD products using ACF Fields and google snippet tool showing only one warning “offerCount: Field. I also go through this link https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-use-product-schema-for-easy-digital-downloads-products/ which is not working and page is not found.

    Please let us know if RankMath providing the Schema settings for EDD Products like for WooCommerce.

    Hello,

    Can you please confirm if you are using the EDD Product Schema on your products? If yes then it should automatically fetch the data from your products. For the aggregateRatings, it will only be added to the Schema once you have some reviews for your product.

    If you are using the EDD Product Schema and still facing the issue then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
