    Rank Math free

I have the free version of Rank math and I have enabled Schema markup.

I am getting the article and breadcrumb schema showing in my RIch results page

Is that being generated by Rank math?

Are there any settings for these schema types?

    Can I get full information.

Here is a URL from my blog

    https://www.smartbabyadvice.com/top-7-best-baby-hair-oils-for-babies-2022/

please check the schema that is being created in the Rich results page by Google

YOu will see Article and Bread crumb schema/

I don’t even have bread crumbs activated on my site

I feel that some settings need to be changed

I have added FAQ schema using Ultimate addons for Gutenberg plugin ( which is also free)

Please advise if the schema has been done properly

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support today and bringing your concern to our attention.

I can confirm that both the article and breadcrumbs schema came from Rank Math.

The breadcrumb schema is generated if you have enabled your Breadcrumb module by Rank Math. You may configure it under WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Breadcrumbs. Please see our detailed guide here: https://rankmath.com/kb/breadcrumbs/

As for the article schema, you may configure it individually: https://i.rankmath.com/Ar3UmD or, in your Titles & Meta settings which will be applied globally.

Upon checking your schemas, it seems the FAQ schema is added properly by Ultimate addons.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thanks for the reply

As per the image, it seems the Article schema is pulling the content from Title, Description and keywords fields
But I have not filled these fields for my posts.

So presently what details are displaying in my schema markup? Are they complete or empty?

In that case what will happen?

For setting the breadcrumbs , do I need the Pro version of Rank math?

Is it helpful to set up bread crumbs as I don’t want it to reduce the CWV scores with additional code

    Hello,

The data from your schema is not empty, as the Article Schema type automatically fetches the headline, description, and keywords from your content if you’re using the default variables. Here’s a link for more information:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/article-schema/#num-5-fill-the-details-in-the-schema-builder

Rank Math’s Breadcrumbs Schema in the Free version is pretty much automated, as it will automatically include the schema to your posts/pages/archive URLs, without using additional codes.

With Rank Math PRO, you can easily add the Breadcrumbs via the Elementor widget. Here’s a link for more information:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/breadcrumbs/#elementor

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

I am using Gutenberg and not Elemnentor

I want to know how the BC schema has been set up automatically?

I cant see any page for it , like the page for the Article schema settings?

    Hello,

Please test your pages here: https://search.google.com/test/rich-results and you should be able to see the breadcrumbs schema.

Please see the example screenshot below: https://i.rankmath.com/utiOc9

If you also referring to the actual breadcrumbs on the front page, please click on this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/breadcrumbs/

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
