  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Here is a video you can follow as well:

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

Unfortunately the problem is still present.

    Hello,

We’ve tried to check your website but unfortunately, the username or password you’ve shared is not correct.

Please try to update the logins in the sensitive data section so that we can check the issue further for you.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

The login credentials are already working for your staging site.

However, we cannot replicate the pop-up issue in the general settings, even in the 404 section. Are there any steps required to see it on your staging site?

Meanwhile, is it only happening on a specific web browser? Could you please try using Google Chrome and check if the issue persists?

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

In the 404 code settings, I put on advanced and save. I have the error. If I remember correctly it also happens in other other areas of the settings when I change them and want to save.

    Hello,

Unfortunately, we can’t seem to reproduce the issue on our end. Please see the video screencast I made in your WP dashboard inserted in this ticket’s Sensitive data section.

Can you please create a screencast from your end demonstrating the issue? You may use this tool to share your video screen cast: https://loom.com/

We really look forward to hearing back from you. Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

We’ve checked your website again and we can see that the 404 Monitor settings are getting saved properly without any issue. Please check the screencast in the sensitive data section for your reference.

If you’re still facing the issue, please try to check in the incognito mode of your browser or you can check with different browser.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I am sorry to say but we can’t reproduce the issue on our end as it is currently fine.

Can you please confirm if you have tried a different browser to see if that would work?

For now, I have turned on the “Show Homepage Link” option for you.

    Looking forward to helping you.

The problem occurs with Firefox 102.14.0esr, but not with Chrome 103.0.5060.134.

    I have updated browsers.

    Hello,

We’ve checked your website again with Firefox browser version 102.14.0esr and we could able to replicate the issue.

This notification is not from our plugin, it is the default behavior of the Firefox Brower. If you want, you can disable this option from the browser config. Please enter about:config into the Firefox address bar and search for the preference named dom.disable_beforeunload, double-click it to change its value to true.

Once done, the issue should be resolved.

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

    Thank you!
