  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

It seems like you are using 2 Sitemap plugins. One from the Rank Math and other from a different plugin. Here’s a screenshot:
    google sitemap url

Please disable either Rank Math’s Sitemap module or disable the other Sitemap plugin.

If you disable the other Sitemap plugin, make sure to update your Robots.txt file to reflect that and also submit the new Sitemap URL on Google Search Console.

With that said, we highly recommend going through the following guides to set up the plugin completely and correctly:

    and

    Hope that helps.

Hi sir, can you please me remove the other plugin data? I don’t know how to do this

Oh I think you are pointing to a different site.

I need help with the [mysite].com/blog and not with [mysite].com itself.

    Hello,

Please update all the plugins and the themes to the latest version and let us know.

We will proceed with your request to remove the 2nd plugin which is generating the Sitemap.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Dear sir, I have asked my hosting team for this

“Please remove existing robots.txt file or use the robots.txt by rank math.

Existing Robots.txt file is too complicated and could create issues.”

The issue is with tiptopcats.com/blog and no issue with tiptopcats.com

So you don’t need to remove any plugin as it is on other site.

Hosting team said The blog directory does not contain a robots.txt file at present. The file robots.txt is present in the FC_Application folder

    HI there,

Thank you for the additional information.

I have checked /blog site vut there are no indexing issues detected.
Google is using the robots files on the root site to index the content and since you have blocked the feed URLs, this is what is causing a problem:

    Disallow: //feed/*/
    Disallow: */feed

I can suggest that you login to the parent site via FTP since you have not shared any access to this site and rename the robots.txt file on the root site folder to a unique name so that Rank Math can take over the management of this file.

I hope this info helps. Thank you.

Hi, I found the culprit plugin and disabled Sitemap and Robots of that. Now I think the things should work out

It worked. Thank you so much for your help.
