    Hello,

    I want to edit robots.txt file but I’m getting this message “robots.txt file is not writable.”
    I mention that I don’t have a robots.txt file in my root.

    Also, I read all the blog posts related to this issues, but I was unable to solve it.
    Can you guide me please?

    If you’re unable to modify your robots.txt using Rank Math, please check this link for more common reasons:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/cant-edit-robots-txt/#common-reasons-your-sites-robots-txt-cant-be-edited

    If the issue still persists, please check if this line exists in your wp-config.php file, as it needs to be set to false so Rank Math can modify your robots.txt:

    define (‘DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT’, true);
