RM won’t save settings on page

Greetings,

I have been working on a website using the Rank Math SEO Plugin for WordPress. The version listed on the plugin page is 1.0.87. I set up the majority of the website without any issues using the plugin. However, in the middle of adding new pages last week, Rankmath suddenly stopped saving data. The keyword I would enter into the page settings and the snippet section will not save the data. I can set it up in the page edit section and save the page. Any changes that are made to the page itself are saved, but nothing entered into the plugin data area is being saved. I have tried to disable the plugin, delete it and reinstall it, but when I try to delete the plugin after deactivating (and purging cache) it says it can not delete the plugin while it is active on the main page. I deleted the plugin directory via FTP and reinstalled it with no luck. Same issue with a fresh plugin install. I have not tried to make changes to previous pages that have been saved for fear that those pages will not save the SEO information that has been entered. If you want me to test that, I will. I am not sure how to proceed. Please advise.
