    Hello Rankmath

I am using Rankmath and Judge.Me plugin on My woocommerce website.

When I check the product (link in sensitive data) in rich test tool it shows me a warning “review missing” even though the product has 1 review. How can I solve this?

Also for product with no rating (link in sensitive date) rich test tool shows warning “Missing field “aggregateRating” (optional)” but as per the recent change by Rankmath

“Improved: WooCommerce Product Schema will now add the rating value only if the value is greater than 0”

Shouldnt it not add the rating schema when it is 0? Thanks

  • Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

Rank Math takes the schema data from your product pages automatically and turns it into Schema-ready content. Likewise, the aggregateRating and review fields are taken from your actual product reviews that your buyers/customers leave on your products.

If you don’t have any reviews yet, that is going to show up as a warning in the schema testing tool. That’s because Google will actually look for those fields.

When the reviews are collected using a third party tool such as Judge me, you will need to get in touch with them to help you pass the rating data to Rank math schema using this filter:https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#change-post-schema-data

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hello

Thanks for the prompt reply. I will contact judge.me regarding this.

    Hello,

Please let us know how it goes.

Sure I have sent an email to judge.me I will update when I get the reply. Regards.

    Hello

This is the reply I received from Judge.Me

“Hello, there; please notice that Recommendations are mostly only that: and. different from errors; one can submit and show rich snippets if ignoring them ( what should be done only if one know why that recommendation is happening.
In the specific case of the “Review”; happens because Judge.me doesn’t send the “review” field, that is normal.
This is made for the sake on optimization: We send the number and ratings so the stars can show in the search, but no the content of each review (the “review” field ); because, as imagined, that could be a batch of extra data that can slow down the performance of the page and its really not needed for rich snippets generation.

I hope that helps undestanding the situation a bit better: thanks for your interest! We hope you keep enjoying your service as much as possible :)”

    Hi,

    Thank you for the feedback.

According to their reply, the plugin you are using doesn’t pass your reviews to your pages schema. Without having these fields, this will always appear as a warning on your pages as the filed is recommended and Google will actually look for the same.

To add this data, you will have to ask them(review plugin support) to assist you in adding the data to your markup.

    Hope this helps.
