I checked the page source, the meta description is correctly added in the page source.

However, when the page was last crawled by Google, the meta description was not present in the page source.

I will suggest you wait for Google to crawl the URL and reflect the changes in the search results.

Thanks for getting back to me. I have set that page to crawl several times for some unknown reason the meta for description keeps changing. Any ideas on a fix?

Since the correct meta tag is already shown in the page’s source code, it’s just a waiting game for Google to update the results on the search results page:

Unfortunately, there’s no definite time for Google to recrawl your site. According to Googe guidelines, crawling can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.
