Rich Snippet block is showing error

    When i added the Rich snippet in my Gutenberg editor for a blog post , it shows “snippet not selected”.
    How to solve this issue?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    This suggests that you have not yet selected a schema type for post via the Rank Math rich snippet tab. Please head over to the sidebar and click on the schema option to configure the post’s rich snippet as shown below:

    Once all the data has been entered and the post published, you will then be able to add the rich snippet block.

    Hi Aniket,

    Thanks for the follow up.

    The option to add schema to post is not available to articles.
    Google recommends adding schema type to the post if you want to be featured in the program for rich snippets such as Job Posting, Product, Software application etc.

    You will notice that the rest of the schema types have a shortcode option to assist in embedding the schema data to the post.
