Review Integration with JSON LD Script

    Hello,

We use Judge.me for product reviews on our site.

Google schema tests show that the Review and AggregateRating fields are missing, even though judge.me should be adding them.

The developer has been working with us to resolve this and thinks that their script is unable to integrate with the JSON-LD script.

They state: “Normally our app is able to integrate with the main JSON-LD script but we see this is not happening in your shop. Could you please contact Rank-Math and let them know about this issue?”

I pasted their exact recommendations in the sensitive data field including URLs to our store, but they are asking if you can add an @id or otherwise integrate in a different way.

If you have a moment, would you be kind enough to review their request and provide guidance?

    Thank you.

    Hi Peter,

The Review field will only be added if the author of the post writes a review. I am not 100% familiar with how Judge.me works but I don’t think they allow adding author reviews.

Please note that these are just warnings. Google recommends that you have these in your Schema but they are not essential. So, they will not have any effect on the ability of your content to appear with Rich Snippets in Google’s Search Engine Result Pages.

For the changes we made, I have asked my colleague Michael to followup and let you know what we changed. We will be in touch.

    Hi Todd

    Thanks for that.

Ah, so reviews are not product reviews, rather they are post reviews.

If we could resolve the questions about the changes that were made to functions.php, I think it will help others and we can mark the ticket resolved.

    Thanks

    Hi Peter,

No, they are the product reviews but the product review added by the author of the post/product rather than the user-submitted reviews that are facilitated by Judge.me. I hope that clears the confusion and we will get back to you on the changes we made.

Judge.me only adds the aggregateRating snippet, they do not add the review snippet to product page. I have confirmed it with them. So you can assume that the issue has been fixed as I did. Thanks to Rank Math support.

    Hi Krishnendu,

    Thanks for the follow up.

I am glad that this is now resolved 🙂

I simply added back the code that I had shared earlier. The devs from Judge.me had also released an update to address this issue.

    I hope this info helps.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.
