    Hello

SEO analytics from Rank Math tell me “The response time of your page is 0.59 seconds. It is recommended to keep it equal to or below 0.2 seconds”.
Following your recommendation, I have installed W3C Total Cache to improve those results and I have configured it following the instructions of my hosting support. Therefore I have it well configured.
But I can’t improve that response time.
Will a response time of 0.59 seconds penalize my SEO position?
On the other hand, how can I improve that response time?
    Regards,
    Josep

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I checked your site with our External SEO Analyzer and PageSpeed Insights, and the server response time of your site is 1.59 seconds in both the tools. Please consider compressing your images, minifying your javascript/css files. It will bring significant speed to your website. And you can also try to remove unnecessary plugin/snippet code.

You can use learn more about it here:

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Hi Jaideep, thank you very much for your help.

So, according to what you tell me, the results of the external analyzes (1.59 seconds) are even worse than those indicated by the internal Rank Math analyzer of 0.59 seconds. What is the reason for the difference? Why does the Rank Math analysis indicate a bad result of 0.59 seconds and the external analyzes indicate even worse results of 1.59 seconds according to what you explain?

I believe that I will not be able to improve the speed of my website (which is still under development). When I start to fill it with content, the results will be even worse, because I am not an expert but a private user who wants to build his own website for a professional business, but with optimal positioning.

What speed will be worrying for my positioning? To what extent should I obsess over this matter?

My hosting provider tells me that I am way below average and that I shouldn’t worry so much. What do you think?

    Thanks,
    Josep

    Hello,

The server response time relies on many factors and can vary depending on the location. However, even if the server response time is a bit higher than recommended, your site’s overall performance in the Page Speed Insights test is around 95 and that’s a pretty good score. So you don’t need to worry about it much.

And since you have already compressed and minified images and JS/CSS on your site and also installed & set up the caching plugin, the issue should be related to your host. We just report the server response time, we don’t have any option or feature to help you optimize that.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance.
