It seems like the base of your products is set as /product/ in the permalinks settings of WordPress. Please navigate to WP Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and change the Products’ custom base from /product/ to /courses/.
Please make sure that after changing the base, the URLs with the /product/ base are being redirected to the new URLs.

That was unnecessary. I turned off the following in rankmath/general settings/woocommerce:
Remove base – set to off
Remove category base – set to off
Remove parent slugs – set to off
This worked. But is there anything I should worry about that I don’t know about after turning these three to off?

There is nothing else you need to worry about. The URLs are working fine and redirecting to the URL with the product base.
