    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Actually, you don’t need to remove your Rank Math account in order to remove that post URL from your site.

You can simply set the post to no-index and your sitemap should be updated and that URL should be removed as well.

Please see the screencast below to see the example:

We hope that helps, let us know if you need further assistance with anything else.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Is there any other manual way to delete and then recreate a new sitemap file with new URLs because I really don’t want my site to be indexed & found a 404 URL in the starting?

I have done the same as shown in the above video but it is still showing it is not updating faster like yours.

How much time it will take to get updated the sitemap file.

    Thanks

    Hello,

No-indexing a post would not delete the post from your website but will only remove it from the sitemap as well as Google index. It would not result in a 404 error. However, removing the post completely will result in a 404 unless properly redirected.

Please refer to the video shared by my colleague to remove posts/pages from the sitemap.

If your sitemap is not getting refreshed, try saving permalinks.
Go to WordPress dashboard > Settings > Permalinks > Hit Save(without changing any settings)

I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.

Thanks to @Febby and @Anas. Issue is resolved.
