    Thank you.

And how to remove the date from search engine results?

    Hello,

Please check the article linked above.

There’s no single method that works because Google can pick it from several places.

Since there are two recommendations (structured data and visible date) from Google to show the right date in the SERPs, we will show you examples from our Rank Math website

What I need to see is how to do it, not what are the options that exists.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Could you please share the affected URL/s so we can check as well? You can add them to the sensitive data section

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure, and only our support staff has access to that section.

Meanwhile, please check the content for any visible date as search results tend to display the date from the content itself:

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

We understand that, you don’t want to show your post’s date on Google SERPs. But before you remove them, it’s important to understand the possible ways from where Google can pick them up and show on SERPs. As Google can pick the dates from several places, so removing dates from Google SERPs can be a bit tricky to handle.

Here are some reference below that may help you to understand on what you need to do in this case.

According to Google’s John Mueller, it is useful to check out your published HTML page and in your browser select to “view code” in order to see if there’s something there that is sending date information to Google.

And if you find some published date information in the HTML code that you don’t want published in Google’s SERPs then the next step would be to find out what’s part of your code is generating that date and remove it.

Hoping you’re already aware about our tests on this issue. While testing, we found that Google picked the date from the Rank Math’s blog posts, only when they are presented with a clearly visible date, and even the structured data is added with the appropriate date Schema. So, it can be said that search engines display dates when they’re clearly visible inside the content.

In conclusion, we can suggest you to check for any visible date to the contents that you’re having issue with. If there’s any, you may try hiding them from your content to see if Google shows dates for those URLs on SERPs anymore or not.

To completely remove the date from SERPs, you may also get in touch with your theme provider.

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.
