Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Could you share (in the Sensitive Data section) some of the affected URLs so we can try to determine the cause of the issue?
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Yes, for sure here are some links, for example, I wrote a post called a guide to buy a washing machine in India Guide to buy a washing machine in India
In it The meta description that I wrote was this
“Guide To Buy Washing Machine in India – Know about all the things that you must consider before buying A Washing Machine – Full buying guide.”
Hello,
In the source code, it shows the right meta description and even checking it in https://metatags.io/ you can see the one you want.
βDo note that if everything’s fine and Google still decides to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.
The best you can do is optimize your meta tags to try and match the intent of the search/keyword.
You can read more about it here

This section sheds light on that:
Why the search result title might differ from the page's <title> tag
Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.
Sorry, I forgot to tell you that my website is washingmachinemart.in
Hey, I got your point but still, I am a bit confused that I have seen a pattern that after publishing the article my meta description is missing or it is not exact but after few weeks or a month in some of the articles it is the same that I wrote.
So can you please tell why this is happening.
Hello,
It is just that Google prefers to show that meta description for that search, it thinks it fits better the search intent, even when you have the right meta tags set.
The only solution for that is what I told you in my previous answer since it is not related to Rank Math settings nor even your website, everything is fine there.
Looking forward to help you.
Thanks a lot, Alberto
You helped me a lot but sorry to say that I have one more problem but I don’t know why this is happening.
Since a few weeks, I noticed that whenever I publish any of the new articles during that time it shows the correct page where the article must be.
But after a few days in the google search result, my article exact page is not there but rather than in the search results my homepage is showing where there is a special widget of a recent post.
You can see that in this link “best front load washing machine brand in india”

Hey, I wrote my meta title but nothing happened my home page is also indexed but still, the problem is the same as it was earlier plz help me out.
Hello,
I have just checked it and I see the same description you have in the source code meta description on Google (I attached screenshots in the Sensitive Data section).
Could you check it?
Looking forward to help you.
Hey, Alberto Yes now my homepage meta title is showing exactly the same but as I told you that there was a problem with my articles that why they were not showing in the search results and instead of that my homepage was showing in the target keywords.
Hello,
Google sometimes decides to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword and ignores the custom meta info altogether. Please check the screenshot I have added in the sensitive section, the search shows something from the homepageβs content that matches the search intent better.
In the case where your homepage is Ranking for your article, it is likely your homepage also has enough command for the keyword in it’s content. In the screenshot I have attached, you can see the search keyword clearly appearing in your homepage related content.
Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know.
Hey Micahel thanks a lot for this advice but can you please suggest me what step should I take so that my homepage does not rank in place of my article plz help me out with this because I think that this will harm my SEO.
For further information, I want to tell you that I am using the content view plugin that is showing a brief summary of my article up to 100 words also I am having a widget called a recent post that includes a heading of my all post.
So do you think that is this the cause of my problem?
and please visit my website’s homepage so as to clearly see the things.
Thanks a lot for helping me out.
