  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

The warning might be just because of the caching issue, please close the warning message, clear your website & browser cache and reload the page, it should not show up anymore.

Either “offers”, “review”, or “aggregateRating” should be specified

To fix the missing review and aggregateRating fields, Rank Math takes the Schema data from your product pages automatically and turns it into Schema-ready content. Likewise, the aggregateRating and review fields are taken from your actual product reviews that your buyers/customers leave on your products.
    reviews

If you don’t have any reviews yet, that is going to show up as a warning in the Schema testing tool. That’s because Google will actually look for those fields.

Please acquire some reviews and ratings to get rid of the aggregateRating and review warnings.

To fix the offers issue, the offers schema is automatically generated when you add the price to your products.

    Missing field “image”

Please add a featured image to your blog post or a primary product image if you are editing on a product page. That image will then be used as the image for the Schema automatically.

    Missing field “brand”

To fix the brand warning, head over to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > WooCommerce and choose from any of the available fields to use as your product’s brands.

    Brand Value

If you want to use a custom value for your Brands, you can do that by using the following code in your theme’s functions.php file:

    // Add Brand for Products.
    add_filter( 'rank_math/snippet/rich_snippet_product_entity', function( $entity ) {
    $entity['brand'] = 'Rank Math;
    return $entity;
    });

Replace the “Rank Math” text with your actual brand name then run your website through the Structured Data Testing tool once again.

Note: With Rank Math PRO, you don’t have to use filters to add a custom brand.

    Missing field “priceValidUntil”

For the priceValidUntil warning, you have to either ignore that or add a sale price with validity to get rid of it:
    select brand

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Thanks for the suggestions, I really do appreciate it. Can you instruct me on how to clear my website cache, I know how to clear the browser cache. I thought that it was done automatically from my Lightspeed cache plugin

    LiteSpeed Cache Settings
    Purge Settings
When enabled, the cache will automatically purge when any plugin, theme or the WordPress core is upgraded.

    Hello,

Thank you for the follow-up, and sorry for the delay.

You can check this link on how to clear your cache using Litespeed Cache plugin:
    https://www.a2hosting.com/kb/a2-hosting-products/turbo-web-hosting/clearing-the-litespeed-cache

If the issue persists, please also head over to Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > then click the Remove Transients button
    SEO Plugin conflict

Please note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. If it’s not showing, you must have chosen to use the Easy Mode. Please follow the steps in this link to switch to Advanced Mode:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/advanced-mode/

I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.

The manage option described in the instructions is not available in the lite speed plugin.

“On the leftside menu of WordPress, hover over the LiteSpeed menu item until the flyout menu appears and then click Manage.”

    The only options are

    Dashboard
    General
    Cache
    CDN
    Optimization
    Database
    Crawler
    Toolbox

I was able to purge the cache in Litespeed, but how can I verify if the issue was resolved
(Either “offers”, “review”, or “aggregateRating” should be specified)

    Hello,

Thank you for keeping in touch with us.

Can you please send us the affected URL so we can check it on our end? You may insert it in the Sensitive Data section.

We are looking forward to helping you with this one.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thank you for the update, and sorry for the delay.

The Either "offers", "review", or "aggregateRating" should be specified message in your Google Search Console seems coming from your product pages.

I’ve checked a random product page on your site and got that warning using Google’s Rich Results test.

The aggregateRating and review fields are taken from your actual product reviews that your buyers/customers leave on your products. You can check this link for more information:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/either-offers-review-or-aggregaterating-should-be-specified/

I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.

My question is regarding the setup of Schema, I just read the instructions on this page
    https://rankmath.com/kb/rich-snippets/
So it states that I need to save schema for each of the different page type. I have a ecommerce website, so I have product pages and a blog page (post)
So for example, do I select post, then schema type would be Article, then press save.

The instructions recommends doing this for each page type, but this is where it gets confusing because for Post Type you have
    Post
    Pages
    Products

    Then for products there is
    Brand
    Product Categories

I need schema for all my products as well as my blog page, can you tell me exactly what I need to select and save so that all my product pages and my blog page will be covered by schema. Since schema is important, why is this not a automatic process, thanks

Just under the Rank Math SEO tab, there are 3 functions
    General
    Schema
    Social

General and Social I understand, but under Schema, this message appears
(Configure Schema Markup for your pages. Search engines, use structured data to display rich results in SERPs. Learn more.)

So do I have to configure the schema for each page or category type or is it automatically pre set

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

According to this, you would need to decide if you wish to add the schema on your product pages and posts either individually or via the global settings.

As per your first reply, it seems that this is within the global settings.

so I have product pages and a blog page (post)
So for example, do I select post, then schema type would be Article, then press save.

Yes indeed, so selecting posts (under post types) and then selecting the schema type as an article will set all your new posts to have the article schema type.

You can then select the blog or article for the article type you are using within your site. This also applies to the individual schema settings for your posts.

Regarding what you see on the post types, the Rank MAth settings, do display the post types first then it displays the respective taxonomies of the post types.

Examples of post types include Posts, Pages, Products and any other custom post type.
    post types

Whereas, examples of taxonomies in posts [post type] are tags, categories.
    taxonomies

Similarly, the products post types also have its taxonomies which are listed here:
    producttax

So if you have posts and products that you have previously created on your site, kindly use the individual settings on the schema tab to set your preferred schema type.

In this case, if you are using WooCommerce, please use the WooCommerce Product schema on your previously created product pages. See the same for posts individual page settings: https://i.rankmath.com/CIqCmW

On the products that will henceforth create ensure that you have selected the Woocommerce Product schema on the global settings under Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Post Types > Products. Then under schema type select WooCommerce Product.

Do the same for your blog page posts but instead, choose the posts post type and article schema type.

I hope this helps, kindly let us know if you need further help.
We really look forward to helping you more.

    Thank you.

    Hello Brian
Thanks very much for your detailed response, it was very helpful to get a better understanding of your Schema settings, So after reviewing your notes I checked my settings and from what I can see it looks like all the settings are already preset with the global settings, please confirm if that is correct, and if that is correct, it looks like I dont need to do anything? but please confirm.

Now regarding the issue with the
( Either “offers”, “review”, or “aggregateRating” should be specified)

I dont have any feedbacks on my website, so can I just ignore those warning messages from Google
    thanks
    steve

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Upon checking your site, I have not noticed any issue with your blog posts as they are displaying the article schema as eligible correctly as shown in the screenshot here: https://i.rankmath.com/APHIw8.

As for the Products schema the error regarding the reviews and aggregate Rating, you will have to wait until you get the actual reviews for your site. For now, you may ignore this warning.

Hope this helps. We are looking forward to assisting you further in case you have any other queries.
    Thank you

Thanks Brian, mission accomplished. I do like Rank Math for optimizing the website, I was previously using a software called Squirrly, which I have since deleted. The customer support from
    Rank Math is excellent
