Hello, google search console notifies me that it cannot index the AMP version of my site, with this error: “Referring AMP URL is from another canonical page.” I am using the AMPforWP plugin, I already spoke with them and they inform me that the problem is in rank math, could you please inform me how to solve it?

    Thank you for your answer

    Regards

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section and also the affected AMP URL.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I tried to find the issue but the canonical seems right for me (as you can see in the screencast I added in the Sensitive Data section). Could you try to revalidate the issue in Google Search Console?

    Looking forward to help you.

    hello??

Hello, Google Search Console continues to notify me that “The referrer AMP URL is from another canonical page”, when I consulted them it registered 506 links on my site with this error, today there are more than 560, so it does not stop growing. Please help me.

I attach some of the links where Google Search Console finds this error. If you want, in addition to access to my wordpress I can give you access to GSC so that you can corroborate it.

I greatly appreciate your help, I really need it, I like Rank Math more than Yoast and I would like to continue using it, thank you very much.

    Hello,

I tested your amp URLs with Googles very own AMP Test tool and I cant find any issues. Your AMP URLs seem to be valid:

    Hello,

If you want, you can give us access to the GSC, you can use s******@r***********.

But I have checked some of the links I saw in the GSC screenshot and I found issues on them but not related to the canonical (as you can see in the link I shared in the Sensitive Data section).

To fix those issues you just need to set a company logo on WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Local SEO.

    Looking forward to help you.

Thank you, I put the logo the day I configured the plugin for the first time, do I have to change it? would you give me more details please?

    Hello,

Since you are using AMP for WP plugin I enabled the option to add canonical from Rank math in AMP > Settings > SEO where Rank math is selected as the SEO plugin. Since Rank math integration is already selected here, I also disabled the AMP module in Rank math dashboard. I believe that should fix the canonical issue, you can validate the URLs again and let us know.

On the issue with missing Logo field , you seem to have Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP plugin in additional to having enabled Rank math Schema module. Please disable one of the options to have only one schema plugin on your site and avoid any conflicts.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Schema & Structured Data For WP has a “Compatibility” tab which lists Rank Math as one of the compatibility options.

For someone using the Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP plugin (with the “Rank Math” option checked in the Compatibility tab), *should we have the “Scheme (Structured Data)” enabled in the Rank math dashboard?

AND, does the “Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP” plugin and the “Schema (Structured Data)” Rank Math Dashboard provide similar functionality? Or is one better than the other?

Just looking for a recommendation to avoid conflicts and get the best-of-all-world with features.

    Hello,

Structured Data for WP & AMP is a Schema only plugin and therefore is likely to have more schema types in their list. Rank math is an all in one SEO plugin. The schema types included are the most common and it’s quite a good list that can be used for almost any site. However, if you feel you need to use Structured Data for WP & AMP, I can recommend disabling the schema module in Rank math dashboard to avoid any probable conflicts on your site from the same.

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.
